Researchers on the RENA project, Dr Filip Škiljan and Dr Kristian Lewis, in collaboration with Dr Sandra Kralj Vukšić, director of the Slovak Centre for Culture in Našice, participated in the International scientific and professional conference Kontinentalna Hrvatska: povijesni kontekst, aktualnosti i perspektive u budućnosti. The conference was held in Đakovo from 23 to 25 October 2024 and was co-organized by the Institute for Scientific and Artistic Research of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts in Đakovo, the Faculty of Education of the University of Osijek, the Institute for Migration Research, the Institute for Development and International Relations, the Virovitica University of Applied Sciences, the Academy of Arts and Culture in Osijek, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Mostar, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek, PAR University of Applied Sciences in Rijeka, and the Nikola Tesla University of Applied Sciences in Gospić. At the conference, the project topic Školstvo pripadnika nacionalnih manjina u Hrvatskoj – primjer Slovaka u Slavoniji was presented.
