RENA project principal investigator Dr Kristian Lewis and lead associate Dr Filip Škiljan visited the Polish School in Zagreb on 12 April 2025. They were welcomed by the school principal Izabella Glavić and the teachers who teach the Polish language and culture at the school and at Ivan Gundulić Primary School in Zagreb, where Polish language classes are conducted according to Model C. During the meeting with principal Glavić, teachers Katarzyna Rudzinska, Julija Radojčić, Dominika Flakus Tadić, and assistant Karlo Glavić, discussions focused on project topics related to the education of Polish pupils, the challenges of implementing educational activities according to Model C, and the general status of the Polish minority in Croatia. The data collected will be presented at a scientific conference in the second half of 2025, and a research paper on these topics will be published.
